Had urged Congress to file defamation case: Bhupen on Sarma's Gogoi-Pak claims

Ex-Congress leader Bhupen Borah, who joined BJP, said he had written to Congress party and urged it to file defamation case against Assam CM Himanta Sarma for his remarks on Gaurav Gogoi's alleged Pakistan connection. Borah stated that no legal action was taken. He added Sarma raised the issue repeatedly during the panchayat elections which Congress later lost.
