Hairline display crack warranty removed for iPhones, Apple watches

Apple has modified its basic warranty terms for iPhones and Apple Watches. Repairs for minor hairline cracks are no longer covered, now considered 'accidental damage' requiring customer payment. Previously, such cracks were covered if no impact point was evident. The change, aimed at ensuring consistent policy enforcement, currently affects only iPhones and Apple watches, not iPads or Macs.
