The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave a clean chit to Nagpur-based snack manufacturer Haldiram's snacks on Monday, after testing its samples. The state body said the products were "perfectly safe to consume". The FDA’s move comes over a month after US FDA banned the import of Haldiram's snacks over alleged lapses in food safety standards.
