Half of Iran's population fully vaccinated against COVID-19: Govt

Around 4.4 crore people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, more than half of the country's population, the Iranian government announced on Saturday. The government also noted that the daily deaths from COVID-19 have been decreasing in recent months, something Iranian experts attribute to vaccination. Iran is one of the worst coronavirus-hit countries in the Middle East.
