Half of Kashmir’s lifeline springs have disappeared in two decades

Studies say Kashmir's freshwater springs, which were once lifeline, are drying up due to climate change, erratic rainfall, mining, urbanisation. With thousands disappearing, people walk many kilometres for a drink of clean water.
