Half of Nifty 500 stocks fall over 30% from record highs

The broader market correction is deeper than benchmark indices suggest. Of the Nifty 500 stocks, 449, or 89.8%, are at least 10% below their all-time highs. As many as 252 stocks, or 50.4%, have fallen at least 30%, while 102 have lost over half their value from their peaks. The broad decline highlights the extent of the correction across the index.
