Hamas accepts Egypt, Qatar's ceasefire proposal after 7-month war with Israel

Hamas said on Monday that it had accepted a Gaza ceasefire proposal from Egypt and Qatar. In a statement, it said its chief Ismail Haniyeh had informed Qatar's prime minister and Egypt's intelligence chief of its acceptance of their proposal. US, Egyptian and Qatari mediators have been negotiating with Hamas in recent days.
