Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Iran's Tehran, the Palestinian militant group said in a statement on Wednesday. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also confirmed that Haniyeh and one of his bodyguards were killed when their residence was targeted. Hamas blamed the assassination on Israel, which hasn't claimed responsibility yet.
