Hamas chief's ex-guard, who got UK citizenship after asylum, faces action for 'plot' to kill jews

A former bodyguard of the deceased Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh faces extradition to Germany from London over suspicion of planning attacks on jews on the second anniversary of the October 7 attacks. He was granted asylum and later British citizenship after moving to the UK in 2012. Israel assassinated Ismail Haniyeh in Iran in July 2024.
