Han Seongsook nominated as S Korea's 1st female PM in 20 years

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung has nominated Han Seongsook for the position of Prime Minister, the first female candidate for the role in 20 years. She would serve as South Korea's second-ever female Prime Minister if the parliament approves her nomination. South Korea's first female PM was Han Myeong-sook, the second female candidate, who served as PM from 2006.
