Handheld 'robotic guide dog' for visually impaired people made in UK

A Loughborough University student has designed a handheld "robotic guide dog", Theia, to help visually impaired people navigate. Theia, when asked to guide users to a place, processes real-time data available online, such as traffic density (pedestrians and cars) and weather, to guide users accurately and safely. It physically leads the users instead of telling them which way to move.
