Hardeep Puri reacts to claims of ethanol reducing mileage, says 'May drop for many reasons'

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri reacted to claims that ethanol-blended petrol reduces vehicle mileage, saying, "Yes, it can drop a little, but it can drop a little because of various things." "They use [ethanol] in racing cars also. The acceleration increases," Puri noted. "Somebody said, 'Your insurance is no longer covering this.' Insurers have clarified there's no issue," he added.
