Hardik named Mumbai Indians captain, Rohit's 10-year reign ends

Mumbai Indians (MI) have appointed Hardik Pandya as their captain ahead of IPL 2024. Hardik has replaced Rohit Sharma, who had a 10-year stint as captain of the franchise. Hardik, who led Gujarat Titans (GT) to IPL title victory in 2022, was traded back to MI after two years last month.
