Hardik Pandya retained by GT, trade deal with MI cancelled

GT captain Hardik Pandya has been retained by GT ahead of IPL 2024 auction. His trade deal with MI has reportedly been cancelled. The 30-year-old had led GT to IPL title victory in their inaugural season in 2022 and also led them to the IPL 2023 final. GT have also retained Kane Williamson, David Miller and Shubman Gill, among others.
