Following MI's seventh loss in IPL 2026, former India cricketer Sadagoppan Ramesh criticised MI skipper Hardik Pandya, saying, "He wants to stay behind and let others fix the problems." He added, "Rohit Sharma used Hardik beautifully in crises," noting, "If you stay behind as a captain, the players will never give it their all for you."
