Harley-Davidson firing 700 workers globally, CFO departs

American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson has announced an overhaul of its global operating model, which includes firing around 700 employees. Of these, approximately 500 workers will be leaving this year, said the company, which has seen its sales drop in recent years in the US. Further, Harley-Davidson's CFO John Olin has left his role, after nearly 17 years with the company.
