Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur has become India's highest run-scorer in the Women's T20 World Cup. She achieved the feat on Sunday during India's 2026 WT20 WC opener against Pakistan at Edgbaston, Birmingham. She broke former India Women skipper Mithali Raj's record, who had scored 726 runs for India in the tournament. Harmanpreet has amassed 762 runs in the tournament's history.
