Harrdy Sandhu to play Madan Lal in World Cup film '83

Singer Harrdy Sandhu will play former Indian cricketer Madan Lal in the upcoming Ranveer Singh starrer '83, marking his debut in Bollywood. "I'll be getting an opportunity to relive my first dream – of playing cricket for the country," the singer tweeted, confirming the news. The film is based on India's victory at the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
