Harsh Vardhan Lodha to continue as Chairman of MP Birla Group

Calcutta High Court has ordered Harsh Vardhan Lodha's reinstatement as MP Birla Group Chairman, three years after he was removed by a previous order over "extended estate" concept. The HC said court can't interfere with companies' functioning. The Birlas, who've been battling for the group's control since former Chairperson Priyamvada Birla's demise in 2004, will reportedly contest the ruling.
