Harvard geneticist David Sinclair on immunity’s role in ageing

Harvard geneticist Dr David Sinclair said on the podcast that the immune system drives ageing in two ways. An overactive one secretes inflammation factors that accelerate ageing, he said, while an underactive one fails to clear out senescent zombie cells, which then pump out inflammation of their own.
