Harvey Weinstein sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexual assault

Disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein was resentenced on Wednesday to 15 years in prison for sexually assaulting a former production assistant. Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in 2020, but it was overturned on appeal in 2024. A jury found him guilty again in 2025 after retrial in New York. Weinstein was at centre of allegations during #MeToo movement in Hollywood.
