Haryana approves 100% tax exemption on EVs up to ₹30 lakh

Haryana Cabinet on Tuesday approved 100% exemption from vehicle tax for the registration of two-, three- and four-wheeler EVs costing up to ₹30 lakh. Previously, a one-time 20 percent exemption on motor vehicle tax was granted for registration of electric/battery-operated and CNG vehicles. The existing 20 percent exemption on motor vehicle tax for CNG vehicles will continue as before.
