Haryana approves full motor vehicle tax waiver for EVs up to ₹30 lakh

Haryana approved complete motor vehicle tax exemption for new battery electric vehicles (BEVs) priced up to ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom). EVs costing above ₹30 lakh will receive 50% tax exemption, while the existing 20% tax benefit for CNG vehicles will continue. It also approved 1% motor vehicle tax rebate for new non-transport vehicles up to ₹20 lakh registered in woman's name.
