Haryana brothers grow saffron in 225 sq ft; sell at ₹5 lakh/kg
Praveen Sindhu, an MTech, and his brother Naveen, who quit his job in the UK for the passion of indoor farming, grow saffron in a 225 sq ft room on the roof of their house in Hisar. It is harvested in November. They sell the world's costliest spice at ₹5 lakh per kg in India, the US and UK.
