Haryana Cabinet clears draft ordinance for 75% quota in private jobs for locals

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Monday said that the state Cabinet has approved the draft ordinance mandating 75% reservation in private jobs for residents from the state. "Today is a historic day for the youth of Haryana," Chautala tweeted. BJP and JJP had both proposed the reservation in the run-up to assembly elections held last year.
