Haryana CM moves resolution on Chandigarh issue, Sutlej-Yamuna canal

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday moved a resolution in the state Assembly noting with concern the Punjab Assembly's recent move on the transfer of the joint capital of Chandigarh. Khattar's resolution also urged the central government to take steps to construct the Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) Canal. He accused Punjab of enacting legislations to deny Haryana's rightful claims.
