Haryana doctor faces pension cut over alleged sexual assault

Taking action against a doctor who allegedly sexually assaulted a minor girl during a medical examination at Kurukshetra's LNJP Civil Hospital last month, the Haryana government has reduced his pension to the minimum. Accused Dr Shailendra Kumar's pension has been reduced from ₹1.14 lakh to ₹14,000, the minimum permissible under rules.
