Haryana flags biometric fraud in Aadhaar authentication

District authorities in Haryana's Hisar have flagged suspected misuse of Aadhaar authentication after a complaint alleged an operator used a 'rubber thumb impression' for biometric login. The administration has written to UIDAI, which ordered a detailed probe and possible legal action. Officials are also verifying claims that Aadhaar machines were operated from unauthorised private locations.
