Haryana govt extends COVID-19 lockdown till May 24

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij today announced that the lockdown in the state has been extended till May 24. He tweeted, "Mahamari Alert-Surakshit Haryana extended from May 17 to May 24. Stringent measures will be taken to implement the alert." This comes as Haryana continues to report a decline in COVID-19 cases, reporting 9,676 new infections officially on Saturday.
