Haryana govt increases guest lecturers' salary to ₹57,700

Haryana government on Thursday extended the benefit of 'Equal Pay for Equal Work' to all the guest lecturers in the state. Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said all the eligible contractual and extension lecturers will get monthly remuneration of ₹57,700. "By extending this benefit...an additional exchequer of about ₹81.27 crore annually will be borne by state government," added Sharma.
