Haryana govt recovers ₹578 cr in 24 hours after IDFC First Bank reported ₹590-cr fraud

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that his government recovered ₹578 crore in just 24 hours after IDFC First Bank reported a fraud worth ₹590 crore at its Chandigarh branch. "We'd deposited about ₹556 crore and earned ₹22-crore interest on it. We recovered all that," Saini said. He reiterated that 4-5 middle-level employees colluded to cheat the bank.
