Sirsa kinnow from Haryana has formally received a Geographical Indication (GI) tag under the horticulture category. This marks the first fruit from Haryana to receive a GI tag, with officials also calling it a first for an agricultural product from Haryana. Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini said the GI tag will provide new identity on national and global levels.
