Haryana seizes ₹84 lakh adulterated food ahead of Diwali

Haryana's FDA intensified pre-Diwali food inspections, increasing sampling by 82.55%, collecting 2,375 samples between September 1 and November 5 as compared to 1,301 samples in the same period last year. Of 861 samples analysed, 170 failed to meet standards. Seizures worth ₹83.96 lakh were made, including ghee and dairy products. Around 50,000 kg of adulterated sweets and paneer were destroyed.
