Haryana stops Maiden Pharma cough syrup production, issues notice with 12 violations

Haryana has stopped the production of cough syrups at Maiden Pharmaceuticals after the company came under scrutiny over cough syrup-linked deaths of 66 children in Gambia. Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij confirmed this and said serious lapses were found from an inspection carried out at their unit in Sonepat. A notice listing 12 contraventions was issued to the company.
