Haryana woman dies in alleged dowry assault, husband arrested

A 31-year-old woman, Jyoti, died in Haryana’s Kaithal district after allegedly being beaten by her husband over a dowry demand of ₹20,000. The incident occurred in Pundri town on February 2. Police have arrested the husband and registered a case against five members of the in-laws’ family following a complaint by the victim’s father.
