Has quality of leaders improved: SC as it raises doubts on NOTA option

Supreme Court raised doubts over effectiveness of ‘None of the Above' (NOTA) option in improving quality of elected representatives in India. SC said this while hearing a plea to make NOTA mandatory in all elections. "Has quality of elected leaders improved with NOTA? Because what tells us is that educated vote less and economically weaker section vote more," SC said.
