Hasan Mahmud becomes 1st Bangladesh pacer to take Test hat-trick

Bangladesh's Hasan Mahmud has become the first pacer from the country to take a hat-trick in Test cricket. He achieved the feat on Day 3 of the one-off Test against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi. Notably, Mahmud is the third bowler to reach the milestone after spinners Alok Kapali against Pakistan in 2003 and Sohag Gazi against New Zealand in 2013.
