Have to take tough decisions: Snapdeal Founders to employees

After reports of Snapdeal firing 1,000 employees, its founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal in an e-mail to employees said the company has to take tough decisions to become profitable. Snapdeal also dissolved its SD Instant team, a service launched in 2015 that allowed users to purchase daily essentials. Snapdeal's premium fashion platform Exclusively's CEO Amit Maheshwari has also quit.
