Former Team India chief selector Kris Srikkanth criticised LSG all-rounder Ayush Badoni, saying, "He can't even hit over the inner circle." He added, "Having only two shots, he has been playing five years for [LSG]," and slammed the team for defending him based on his averages. Srikkanth also questioned LSG coaching staff for backing poor performances.
