HC Chief Justice texted CJI, held call with DGP after officers held hostage in Bengal

Calcutta High Court Chief Justice Sujoy Paul sent a letter to CJI Surya Kant through a text on Wednesday night after seven judicial officers were held hostage in West Bengal's Malda for nine hours. He also had group calls with home secretary and DGP after no action was taken. CJI Surya Kant remained in constant touch with Justice Paul.
