HC denies gag order against HDFC Bank in Lilavati Trust's ₹1,000 cr case

Bombay High Court denied Lilavati Trust's request for a gag order restraining HDFC Bank from making further statements in the ₹1,000 crore defamation case. The Court denied interim relief to the trust, stating that the bank's statements were supported by material on record. The trust had sued the bank for "falsely portraying" it and trustee Prashant Mehta as loan defaulters.
