HC denies urgent hearing of plea seeking crowd-control measures ahead of CJP protest

The Delhi High Court has declined an urgent hearing to a plea seeking directions for "preventive, regulatory, and crowd-control measures" ahead of the Cockroach Janta Party's protest on June 6. The plea claimed videos circulating online have been urging protesters to "orchestrate massive disruptions at the airport ". However, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das called this allegation a rumour.
