HC junks Lalu Yadav's petition to quash FIR in land-for-jobs case

The Delhi High Court dismissed RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's petition to quash the CBI case in the land-for-jobs scandal. The court ruled the petition "devoid of merits" and said the absence of prior sanction under Section 17A of the Prevention of Corruption Act doesn't vitiate the FIR. The case involves alleged Group-D railway appointments in return for land transfers.
