HC dismisses plea challenging BJP MP Pragya's election from Bhopal in 2019

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has dismissed a plea challenging the election of BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur from the Bhopal seat in the Lok Sabha 2019 polls on grounds of giving "communal speeches". A single bench of Justice Vishal Dhagat dismissed the plea after neither the petitioner nor his counsel appeared in the case despite getting repeated opportunities.
