HC rejects SpiceJet's plea for more time to pay ₹144.5 cr in Maran dispute

The Delhi HC has rejected SpiceJet's plea seeking more time to deposit ₹144.5 crore in its dispute with Kalanithi Maran and KAL Airways. The court added that it could have considered the plea if the airline had deposited the initial ₹50 crore as promised. Notably, the court rejected SpiceJet's proposal to offer documents related to its Gurugram property as security.
