HC rejects WB govt's plea for recalling NHRC probe into post-poll violence

The Calcutta High Court on Monday dismissed a plea filed by the West Bengal government seeking to recall an order asking the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to visit the post-poll violence areas in the state. The HC observed that the state has failed to inspire the court's confidence and it does not find any reason to recall the order.
