HC sets aside Lokpal order against Moitra in cash-for-query scam

Delhi High Court has set aside Lokpal's sanction allowing CBI to file chargesheet against TMC MP Mahua Moitra in alleged cash-for-query scam. "We've requested Lokpal to accord consideration for grant of sanction under Section 20 of Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act in accordance with relevant provisions within one month," court said. The case involves allegations that Mahua indulged in corrupt practices.
