HC slams Bengal govt over fencing delay, says 'Only 8 of 127 km of land given to BSF'

The Calcutta HC slammed Mamata Banerjee's government in West Bengal for failing to comply with its order asking it to hand over land stretches in nine districts along India-Bangladesh border to Border Security Force (BSF). It noted that only 8 km stretch out of 127.327 km of "lands already acquired" has been handed over since its direction on January 27.
