HC stays 30% quota to women with domicile in Uttarakhand civil services

Uttarakhand High Court on Wednesday stayed a 2006 order granting a 30% quota to women having domicile of the state in state civil services. A petition was filed by more than a dozen women from outside Uttarakhand who secured more marks than the cut-off set for domicile women of the state in the preliminary test held on April 3.
