HC stays appointment of 454 pharmacists over exam dispute

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has stayed the appointment of 454 pharmacists recruited by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences until September 17. The order follows a petition alleging that the July 19 written exam was compromised by an inter-state cheating racket using advanced devices. The recruitment process will remain on hold pending further hearing.
